our last shipment of aid to the south of syria contained the items listed below. they were shipped arrived nearly a month before assad’s takeover of the territory. as Assad continued his genocidal march, in july of 2018, the regime completed its takeover of the South of Syria with more bombings, more detained civilians tortured, and more parents torn away from their children. After 2 years successfully delivering aid in partnership with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), we delivered this last container to daraa and quneitra. we halted our deliveries to the South of Syria upon assad’s entry to the territory. with the regime in control, we could no longer reach those who need it. this
